It has been quite a while since the first time I stepped on board in United States 6 years ago, when I initially pursued my first MS degree in Agronomy at Texas A&M University, located in the heart of Southwest fraught with conservative lifestyle. After graduated based on the completion of research-orientated program, I obtained a full-time job as a technician at Texas A&M Health Science Center, focusing on the fundamental studies on hippocampus specifically from the histological and behavioral perspectives. Substantially intrigued in the analysis on experiment data using a wide range of statistical techniques, I decided to detour my career path from biology to financial engineering, where I can submerge myself more extensively in the joy of mathematics, statistics, and computer programming. Therefore, I quitted my job last year and enrolled in my second MS degree in Quantitative Finance & Risk Analytics at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, situated 160 miles away in the north of New York City, the hub of liberal breeze.
